Q: When are payments due to Triton Swimming?
A: Invoices are sent to you via email on the 1st of each month. All e-transfer payments are due on the 8th of each month. Credit cards will be billed on the 10th of each payment and there will be a 2.4% surcharge added to each transaction.
Q: How do I get my receipt?
A: Log into your account to print your invoice/receipts. If you have questions, contact the Treasurer at [email protected]
Q: How can I withdraw from Triton?
A: If you wish to cancel your membership, we need 30 days written notice. Your written notice should be sent to the Registrar at [email protected] stating you wish to withdraw. You will be responsible for all applicable fees as per the club withdrawal policy.
Q: What if my swimmer wants to take a break from swimming for a couple of months?
A: If you wish to become inactive from the club, we need a written notice via email to the Registrar at [email protected] and the withdrawal policy will apply.
Q: How often does my child swim?
A: In order to find out when and where your child swims please consult the TRAINING SCHEDULES under the “PROGRAMS” tab on the website. You will find a complete list and schedule of all practice times and locations of your child’s group listed there.
Q: How much does it cost to swim?
A: When considering swimming, there are various costs to factor in. There is a yearly affiliation membership fee, training fees, swim meets & equipment. Membership and training fees are posted in the “PROGRAMS” tab on the website. Equipment fees will vary by group. Please see our Equipment List on the website for more detailed information.
Q: Does my child have to compete?
A: The short answer is No. However, attending swim meets is a fun team building event and a great way to meet other swimmers in the Triton program. Competing is about the experience and most Tritons eagerly look forward to swim meets! Check our Meet Schedule to see which meets your child is eligible to compete in. Junior Tritons and Teen Fit swimmers will only be able to compete in our in-house Triton Swim Series.
Q: Is Triton right for my child?
A: Usually the answer is YES! If your child can swim 25m unassisted, is comfortable in the deep end and has a genuine love of swimming, then Triton is absolutely right for your child.
